1 According to the Guttmacher Institute’s fact sheet titled “Induced Abortion in the United States,” 21% of pregnant women end up getting an abortion.

2 According to Abortion Abuse Advice & Information Service in Houston, Texas, most of the women who have abortions have the risks of some medical complication or even death.

3 According to the article Abortion Abuse Advice & Information in Houston, Texas, legal abortions is reported as the Fifth bading cause of maternal death in the United States, however it is recognize that most abortion related deaths are not officially reported.

4 According to the resource “The Bible’s Teaching Against Abortion” people discuss how the word abortion is not in the bible and it is wrong toward God’s eyes. This explain That God hasn’t only made us, but he love us and that is not right to avoid a human being to come to earth, because he had died for us.

5) In accordance with Abortion Abuse Advice & Information, half of the 21% of woman that already had an abortion for their first time will have the greatest risks of getting breast cancer or a liver cancer . The chance of getting breast/liver cancer can multiple after 2 or more abortions. When a woman keep having abortions this are the consequences that they can have.+

6) As the article “Induced Abortion in the US” explain, Women with the age of 20, 1 in 10 of them will end up getting an abortion. By the age of 30, 1 in 4 will end up getting an abortion and by the age of 45, 3 in 10 will also end up getting an abortion. As we see this mean that the older you are the faster abortion increases.

7) According to the information in the article “Induced Abortion in the US”, In 2011, 1.6 millions were performed, and down 13% from 1.21 millions in 2008, also there is a percentage of 1.7% of women of the age 15-44 who had an abortion. In addition in 1973 to 2011, 53 millions legal abortions occurred.

8) As the Magazine title The Cap Times explain how Women who find themselves in situation where they have a baby in their belly and family and even their partner are against them, therefore they get frustrated.They are scared of how people will look at them after they abort or if at the end they are really hurting somebody.

9) According to the Magazine title The Cap Times, Women get depressed. For the fact that babies may even born with diseases that will not let them alive for so long, the reason for this is when women have so many abortions for them to have a normal birth can affect them and their child a lot.  therefore women doesn’t have any other option than abort.

10) According to the article “Induced Abortion in the United States”, this website gives us information about the rating on abortions. For instead, “51% of women who had abortions have used a
contraceptive method in the month they got pregnant, most commonly condoms (27%) or a hormonal method (17%).” As we see most of the percent of women are in birth control and they still get pregnant.

1- In a “Ted Talk” given on March 2012, Leymah Gbowee a peace activist in Liberia, speaks on behalf of women and girls around the world. She say that all the African girl wish for a better life, wish for food for their children, wish that sexual abuse and exploitation in schools would stop. In 2004 in Africa she met one girl who had been raped by the father everyday, got pregnant, and all she wanted was to go to school.

2- On March 3 2014, Wikipedia tells that Africa has the highest rate of teens pregnancy in the World. Especially in Sub-Saharan the women get married at an early age. some country teens get married early, like in Niger 87% of women surveyed were married and 53% had given birth to a child before the age of 18.

3- On August 16, 2013 the title of a” article” What Are The Causes Of Teenage Pregnancy? written by R.Y. Langham shows that approximately 750,000 of 15- to 19-year-olds become pregnant each year. Many teens get pregnant because they are afraid to talkto their parents about sex. Sometimes their parents are busy with others things and they don’t pay attention to their children’s education.

4- NBC News shows the challenge in Nate Howell’s life, a student who girlfriend got pregnant when he graduated from his high school. Nate hoped to go to college and be a football player, but when his girlfriend got pregnant he didn’t go to college. All his dreams did not come true because he needs to work and support his new family.

5- In 2014, “The National Conference Of State Legislatures” concludes that teens pregnancy affects the graduation rates. There were 65% or more teens who did not complete their degree. But only 40% of teens mother had finished high school and fewer than 2% had finished college by 30 years old.

6- Langham also had expressed that many time teens get a pressure to have a friend and fit in with their peers. Their friends will influence their decision to have a sex even though they don’t know what will be the consequence after they act. But the end results is a unplanned pregnancy. The Kaiser Family Foundation concludes that more than 29% teens tells that they feel pressure to have sex and 33% feels that they are not ready for a sexual relationship.

7- The National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy shows that the U.S has the highest numbers of teens pregnancy rates in the western industrialized world. In 2008 the African American and Hispanic teen pregnancy rate was over two and a half times higher than the teen pregnancy rate among white teen girls of the same age group. Teens had fewer babies in 2010 than in any year since the mid-1940s. Also 8 out of 10 teen dads don’t marry the mother of their child.

8- Based on the fact sheet published by “Drake Law’s Middleton Center for Children’s Rights”, the flyer points out that women have a right to feel free and decide what is better for them. Also the center says that  if you decide to have a baby the center may provide you a group of people who will support you. But if you decide to have an abortion it will be confidential. The organization who perform abortions are not allowed to talk to your parents about your decision.

9- Another problem that Mayo Clinic reports is that teens drop out of school when they start to think about their physical changes and the economic problems that will happen when the baby is born. This will all affect teens emotions. Also they start to feel different because they don’t have enough experience to have a baby.

10- The America’s Adoption Agency reveals that all women who had choose to put their baby up for adoptions had a chance to continue with their career, education or even get married. For most women, knowing that their child is safe and happy is the biggest benefit for all mother.

Life doesn’t come with instructions, but that’s not an excuse to fall in a hole when you know consequences. Teen pregnancy is one of the most common issue now a days.

1.The article entitled What Are the Causes of Teenage Pregnancy? written by R. Y. Langham, Ph.D. published by livestrong, a web page, reveals how teens have pressure to have sex, trying to fit in or being cool with their friends. The Kaiser Family Foundation reported that 33 percent of teen said that they felt peer pressure and 29 percent of them were not feeling ready yet, however, the fear of being isolated took over them.

2. The web page Livestrong published an article entitled What Are the Causes of Teenage Pregnancy? written by R. Y. Langham informs that the ability to have self control in teens gets lost when they drink or smoke, therefore, teens doesn’t have control and that contributes to 75 percent of pregnancy in between the ages of 14-21. Self control is an important key for future, be aware of what you do.

3. About.com, a web page, published an article called Why Teens Choose Abortion written by Linda Lowen. She explains the reasons why teen mothers choose to abort. The way of living, the religion you belong to and the relationship with your parents all affect how your decision to handle your future. Teenagers’ mind can be easily get confuse by others. Take the right decision. Do what your heart leads you.   

4.According to the article “Teenage Pregnancy” by Opposing Viewpoints, the author tells that teen pregnancy does not have an rate, each year it can decrease but it also can increase. In 2006 and 2007 this number began to increase according to reports from the CDC. This rise didn’t last long, however, and in 2008, the US teen pregnancy rate decrease again.

5.The article “Teen Pregnancy Prevention” explains how the teenage pregnancy is involve in the poverty cycle. Dropping out of schools contributes to the huge issue which is poverty. Prevention may sound silly, but at the end it’s what saves your life.

6.What Are the Effects of Teenage Pregnancy? is an article published by Livestrong and written by R. Y. Langham. He reveals how the majority of teen mothers leave schools as soonest as they get to know they are pregnant. They decide on getting married or just taking care of the baby instead of seeking education. Mothers will then find a job were they would not get well paid.

7.What Are the Effects of Teenage Pregnancy? is an article published by Livestrong and written by  R. Y. Langham. He explains how teen mothers go through an emotional crisis that leads them to attempt with their babies or their own lives. Such a crime, Isn’t it?

8.In 2008, The the huffington post, a web page, published an article entitled ‘Pregnancy Pact’ Principal Defends Comments: My Information ‘Was And Is Accurate’ written by Karen Testa. The author discusses how teens got intentionally  in a pact to get pregnant. Now a days the head its only there for hair, the thinking function has being taken out.

9. According to the audio NYC Mayor’s Campaign Against Teen Pregnancy Widely Criticized. The author gives one way that New York’s ex Mayor, Michael Bloomberg,  used to go against teen pregnancy but he got criticized. The ex Mayor used to put Advertisements in the train saying, “Dad, you’ll be paying to support me for the next 20 years,” and “Honestly,Mom, chances are he won’t stay with you. What happens to me?” However, he was criticized.

10.The article entitled What Are the Effects of Teenage Pregnancy? written by R. Y. Langham, Ph.D. published by livestrong illustrates how pregnancy in such an early age is a huge problem, not only to the mother but to the baby too. Teens mother may not give attention to the baby. They will see the baby as an obstacle to have a normal teenage life.
